Diabetes (die-ah-BEE-teez)
There are two types of diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is called
insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). In type 1 diabetes the pancreas is unable to release enough insulin. Type 2 is called
non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM). Type 2 diabetes is characterized by an
insensitivity to insulin.

Daytime. Pertaining to the daylight hours.
Dihydrotestosterone
(die-HIGH-droh-tes-TOS-ter-own)
SYN: Stanolone (STAN-oh-loan)
The male sexual characteristics are regulated by testosterone and dihydrotestosterone. Androstenedione and DHEA have
relatively little direct androgenic action -- they function
primarily as precursors of testosterone and
dihydrotestosterone.

When you eat, your sympathetic nervous system (SNS) releases noradrenaline (NA). NA release
stimulates lipolysis (breaks down fat) and thermogenesis. Obese people do not put out enough NA to
break down and burn fat properly, thus they become fat.
Diuretic (die-you-RET-ik)
A substance that causes increased urination.
