April 8, 2001: What's the single best thing you can do for your health? Give up?? Hey, I don't blame you. In fact, it was kind of a trick question. The answer is . . . the single best thing you can do for your health is . . . ANYTHING (good) that you can (and WILL) do for the rest of your life!

Think about it. If you jog for three months and end up quitting, what have you accomplished? Heck, if you break even, your lucky. Hopefully, you didn't pull a muscle or get bit by a dog or something. And I'm intentionally ignoring the outrageous price of running shoes... Don't get me wrong, this is NOT an anti-jogging rant. I've got nothing but respect for athletes -- especially athletes that became great despite less than ideal genetics. The point that I'm trying to make is that the FIRST thing that people should focus on are the EASY things that anyone can stick with: take a good multivitamin and extra folic acid, potassium, magnesium, and essential fatty acids. And if your overweight, take a properly formulated thermogenic (assuming you have no preexisting conditions and your doctor gives you a green light).

OK, so what's the next step? Well, a good next step would be to drink more water. A lot of beverages can mess with your insulin levels, so switching to water has health AND weight loss benefits. The only difficult thing is the nasty taste of tap water.Yuk face.gif (173 bytes) So obviously, the key to this pragmatic health plan is to get a good water filter. And since the focus is on EASY stuff, I've made it easy to check out a BUNCH of water filters and find the one that's right for you. Click here or look for "Water Filters" in the "Health And Fitness Products" drop down box -- I've got more than 40 water filters to compare: carbon block, distillers, reverse osmosis, ultraviolet, outdoor/survival filters, you name it.

Americans have less than three weeks to block a federal regulation that would require health care providers to turn medical records over to the government -- which could then share them with third parties such as private marketers, police agencies, and even foreign governments. Go to DefendYourPrivacy.com and join the Libertarian Party's campaign. Protect your medical privacy by pulling the plug on these frightening new regulations.

Liar, liar, pants on fire: If you rely on the mainstream media for information, you probably do not know that Researchers At Harvard And Columbia Found Ephedra Safe And Effective. It is clear that the controlled media has an agenda that is not about to be disturbed by things like research or truth or the health and well being of obese people.

Without a doubt, television is a powerful medium. People spend countless hours watching programs that present big intrusive government as the solution to every problem. What would happen if the tables were turned and television carried a message of freedom and the benefits of  limiting government to it's constitutional duties? Well, that's what the American Liberty Foundation is doing.
