	News, Rants & Site Info Oct 15, 2002: We have expanded our Green Tea Extract price comparison and switched it over to the new table format. I say "unfortunately" because a couple of Bozo politicians are trying to circumvent the will of the people (as expressed by the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act), by introducing a bill that would ban prohormones like Andro. How far will they go with this attack on supplements? Is DHEA safe, or will it be attacked also? Is ANYTHING safe from demagogues and nanny state elitists who think they are SO much smarter than us that they have a right to dictate what we can and cannot do with our own bodies? So, is this the time to stock up on Andro? I don't know, I've heard that is unlikely the bill will go anywhere right now because Congress is expected to adjourn for the year. But who knows? What I do know is that we should not have to live in fear of our favorite supplements being banned. Whether you take Andro or not, please take a moment to email Congress and let them know that you do not want nanny state politicians messing with your supplements. You might also want to read this platform of the Libertarian Party and consider joining. Some might say they go too far, but it seems to me that bad health habits should be a medical -- not a legal -- concern. And as long as we let demagogues pass laws against anything they can demonize, our supplements will never be safe.
